Twenty-two years ago, I started RS Wallace Construction in Portland, Oregon. My love of carpentry dates back three decades to my experience as a student working on a two-story post and beam barn on a beautiful hillside in British Columbia. Working on that barn began my lifelong love of wood and the joy of being able to shape that wood into buildings.

As a small general contractor, we offer all of the services of a larger firm but with a higher level of service at more reasonable prices. Most of our work is kitchen and bath remodels in older homes, but we have a strong portfolio in fine wood working and small commercial work, as well. In each job, we look for ways to incorporate green building practices. Our subcontractors have worked with us for a long time as part of our team, which makes our jobs run smoother and on schedule.
